Biography

Professor at the University of Valladolid specializing in system dynamics and organizational cybernetics. Creator of the VSMod® software supporting the Viable System Model. Former Director of International Relations at the University of Valladolid (2000–2006). Author of over 80 publications and five books, including 'Design and Diagnosis for Sustainable Organizations: The Viable System Method'. Recipient of the Kybernetes Research Award (2006) and Honorary HSSS Award as Distinguished Scientist (2007). Board member of the World Organization of Systems and Cybernetics and Fellow of HSSS.
