Camilo Osejo

Biography

Camilo Osejo-Bucheli is Professor of Business Administration at the Universidad de Nariño, Colombia, and Editor of Organizational Systems. He holds a PhD in Management from Universidad del Valle and a PhD in Social Sciences from Universidad de Chile. His research focuses on organisational cybernetics, systems theory, complexity, and organisational studies. Drawing on Stafford Beer, Humberto Maturana, Niklas Luhmann, and Gilbert Simondon, he investigates organisational viability, adaptation, identity, temporality, and self-organisation in social and sociotechnical systems. His current work develops temporal viability and transductivity as frameworks for understanding organisational transformation across timescales, with particular interest in viable systems and organisational design. He also explores cybernetic approaches to cooperative, decentralised, and libertarian forms of organisation, with particular interest in viable systems, organisational design, and their practical implications.
