Isaías Badillo-Piña

Biography

Isaías Badillo-Piña holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and earned both his Master's and PhD degrees in Systems Engineering. He has published more than 30 research articles in JCR indexed (Q1 and Q2) and Scopus indexed journals, as well as more than 15 book chapters with internationally recognised academic publishers. He is a Research Professor in the PhD Programme in Systems Engineering at Instituto Politécnico Nacional, Mexico. His research focuses on Systems Science. He has led more than 5 research projects and has supervised 5 doctoral theses and 4 master's dissertations. He is a member of several prestigious professional and academic associations, including the Asociación Mexicana de Ingenieros Mecánicos y Electricistas, the College of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, the Mexican Institute of Systems and Cybernetics, the Mexican Academy of Systems Science, the Asociación Latinoamericana de Sistemas (Secretary, 2008–2010), the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the ISSS, and the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).
