Biography
Steve Outtrim is co-founder and CEO of Dynamic Experts. He first studied the Viable System Model as an undergraduate at Victoria University of Wellington in 1992 and applied its principles to the structure of his first company, Sausage Software, creator of HotDog, one of the most widely downloaded Internet applications of the dot-com era, which he founded at 23 and grew to a peak market capitalization of $1.2 billion. Three decades later he returned to Beer's model as the control architecture for autonomous AI agents, fused with David Teece's Dynamic Capabilities framework: the Viable Agentic System.
